This site's Tier DB summarizes the families that include "tank" or "vanguard" in their roles. For durability values and how to receive attacks, the confirmed information on the individual page takes precedence.
It can be used to narrow down the candidates based on the formation in which you want to place a vanguard or durable role, and to compare roles that can be used together such as shielding, recovery, and obstruction.
In situations where the placement or enemy attack specifications cannot be confirmed, damage reduction cannot be determined based solely on the role label. If the main cause is lack of firepower, consider other roles.
The table below is a cross-sectional comparison of candidates for the same tank role across the existing general, normal, Zombie Rush, dojo, and beginner tiers. Tier is not the strength of a role alone, but the existing evaluation of each use.
