Ninjii Hunt Guide | Two Ways to Target the Rectangular Map

Does Ninjii Hunt feel difficult because the map is too wide, or would you like to collect more efficiently?

This guide explains a field-tested approach used by site admin Oji:targeting the rectangular map when looking for Ninjii.

How the two methods differ

Choose Method 1 if reorganizing your friend list is acceptable. Method 2 is an option if you want to keep your current friends, but it requires preparing sub accounts.

Method 1: Reduce your friend list to zero

1. Save important friend details before removing anyone

This method removes every in-game friend. Save names or UIDs for anyone you may want to add again, and explain beforehand when appropriate. Saving their details does not restore the friendship automatically. Do not force this method if important friends would be affected.

2. Start Ninjii Hunt with zero friends

Confirm that your friend count is zero, then enter Ninjii Hunt. In the admin's environment, this produced a match on the rectangular map. Check whether the same map shape appears in your own environment.

3. Search for Ninjii on the rectangular map

In the admin's experience, this map was easier to search than the usual wide map and generally felt capable of yielding four or more. This is not based on recorded attempt counts or averages and does not guarantee a result.

Method 2: Add sub accounts kept on the starting map

An alternative for players who do not want to remove every friend. Add multiple sub accounts kept on the starting map to your main account's friend list.

1. Keep each sub account at the starting-map stage

The practical reference point is an almost untouched account with around two or three Tatari. Do not advance its progression or development so that it remains on the starting map. Two or three Tatari has not been confirmed as an exact necessary or sufficient condition.

Before using a sub account, check the game's account rules and take care not to delete or overwrite your main-account data.

2. Complete the friend connection with your main account

Connect the starting-map sub account and the main account as friends. Afterward, leave the sub account unprogressed and inactive to preserve its initial state. Being logged out itself has not been confirmed as a required matching condition.

3. Add multiple starting-map friends

Register multiple accounts kept on the starting map so they make up a larger part of the friend list. You may reduce some regular friends if needed, but removing everyone is not a requirement for this method.

The admin's aim is to have more starting-map accounts than regular friends and therebyincrease the opportunity to match one of those accounts. Friend selection and weighting are unverified, so the share of starting-map accounts cannot be treated as an exact matching rate.

4. Check both the matched account and map

Enter Ninjii Hunt and check whether matching an initial-state sub account produces the rectangular map. If regular friends remain, you may match them instead. Adding sub accounts does not mean every attempt will use the rectangular map.

Field result: six Ninjii

In the admin's field test, six Ninjii were found on the rectangular map. Six is the maximum that can be found in one Ninjii Hunt.

Cautions and unverified points

• Attempt counts, average yields and the share of runs with four or more have not been compiled for either method.
• The exact relationship between friend count and matching rate, including whether candidates are equally likely, is unverified.
• The exact starting-map criteria, and whether having two or three Tatari or remaining logged out is required, are unverified.
• The admin has verified this in the current game version, but a future update may stop it from working.

The admin targets the rectangular map to make Ninjii Hunt easier. Besides reducing the friend list to zero, players who want to keep friends can consider adding multiple sub accounts kept on the starting map.
